Ghee Cake recipe

Ghee cake is a super soft, aromatic cake that is perfect for tea-time.

Ingredients required
Ghee – ½ cup (in the semi-solid state)
Powdered Sugar – ½ cup
Eggs – 2
Vanilla Essence – ½ tsp
Flour – ¾ cup
Baking Powder – ½ tsp
Salt – 1/8 tsp

How to make ghee cake:
1. Grease and line your cake tin and keep it ready.

2. Also, preheat the oven to 175C for 10-15 min.
3. Mix together the flour, baking powder and salt and keep it aside.
4. In another bowl, whisk the ghee till it turns pale and soft.
5. To this, add the sugar and whisk again.
6. Add the eggs and vanilla essence and whisk till everything is well combined.
7. To this, add the dry ingredients and fold the batter nicely.
8. Transfer the batter to your cake and bake it at 175C for about 40 min till the top looks done and a skewer inserted comes out clean.
9. Let the cake cool down before slicing it.
