Ingredients required Mussels - 400 gms Onion sliced - 3 Ginger and garlic paste - 3 tsp Green chilli sliced - 4 Fennel seeds -1tsp Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp Coriander powder - 1 tsp Garam masala - 1 tsp Salt as per taste Oil (as required) Pepper powder - 1 tsp Curry leaves - 1 sprig How to make kallummakaya roast: 1. Wash and clean the mussels nicely. 2. In a heated pan, add some oil, add fennel seeds, ginger and garlic paste, sliced onion and green chillies. 3. Cook until the onion turn light brown in colour, add turmeric & coriander powder, garam masala, and salt, and sauté well. 4. Once the masala is cooked well, add the washed and clean mussels. 5. Mix well and cook by covering it with a lid. 6. Sprinkle curry leaves and mix well and serve.
