We all know about energy bars, here we have a twist to it in the form of energy balls with this gorgeous homemade recipe. No added preservatives and a long-time storage form of it. It’s so much fun to make and gives you the perfect source of fat, protein, and carbohydrates.

    How to make no-bake energy balls at home

    Step 1

    In a pan, toast the oats and shredded coconut over low heat until just browned around the edges, about 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and set aside.

    Step 2

    Combine the peanut butter, honey, dates, coconut oil, flaxseed, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt and blend them until smooth.

    Step 3

    Add the walnuts and mix until combined. Add the oats and coconut and mix until combined. Add the chocolate chips to the combined mixture and fold in.

    Step 4

    Roll the mixture into balls and chill until firm, at least 30 minutes. If the dough is too sticky to work with, chill it for several minutes before rolling.

    Step 5

    Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
