1. Boiled egg2 nos
2. Chilli powder1 tbsp
3. Cumin or Fennel seed powder1 tbsp
4. Garlic powder1 tbsp
5. Turmeric powder1/4 tsp
6. Salt to taste
1. Start by boiling the eggs. This recipe requires hard boiled egg which normally takes around 12 minutes but the perfect doneness will depend on the quality and freshness of the egg. Once boiled, add them in some ice water so that they can be peeled easily.
2. Once the eggs are ready and peeled, take a mixing bowl, and add all the masalas and mix them well.
3. Once the spice rub is ready, gently roll the eggs in it and see that they are coated properly. To ensure maximum spice absorption, you can also prick the eggs with a fork (gently) or make a shallow cut on its body with a knife. This will enhance the flavour of the final dish.
4. Finally, pour some oil in a saucepan to do a shallow fry and fry the egg until it becomes well roasted.
