1. Add oil and ghee in a large kadai and boil & simmer it while preparing the mysore pak. Take another kadai and add sugar & water into it. Boil it until the sugar has attained one string consistency.
2. Now, add gram flour little by little and ensure that lumps are not being formed. Add more besan into it and continue to stir the mixture. Pour ghee-oil to the besan mixture.
3. Continue to stir the mixture until the oil has been absorbed completely and keep repeating the steps until the mixture starts to get separated from the pan.
4. By the time, oil will also start to release from the sides of the mixture. Transfer the mixture to another tray, leave it undisturbed for 5 to 10 minutes, and then cut it into desired shapes.
