Ingredients of Homemade Mutter Pulao

1. Fresh Green Peas¾ cup

2. Basmati Rice1 cup

3. Ghee1 tbsp

4. Cloves2

5. Cinnamon1

6. Cardamoms2

7. Star Anise1

8. Salt to taste

How to Make Homemade Mutter Pulao

1. Soak the basmati rice in water for 30 minutes and then drain it & keep it aside for later use. Now, take a pressure cooker and heat ghee in it. You must add onions, star anise, cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves into it.

2. Once you have added the ingredients, make sure to saute the mixture for at least eight minutes. Now, add rice and saute it again for a couple of minutes on medium flame.

3. Now, add the green peas into the mixture and continue to saute it for one minute before adding hot water and salt into it.

4. Mix the ingredients really well and pressure cook it for three whistles. Before you open the lid, allow the steam to escape and then serve the dish.
