About Homemade Lemon Rice: The yellowish colored lemon rice is a popular dish in the South indian cuisine that is prepared with basmati rice, lemon juice, peanuts, and other ingredients.
Homemade Lemon Rice

1. coriander seeds1 tsp
2. vegetable oil2 tbsp
3. mustard seeds1 tsp
4. curry leaves3 or 4
5. green chilies2
6. Grated Ginger1-inch piece
7. Roasted Peanuts1/2 cup
8. turmeric powder1 tsp
9. Juice of 2 lemons
10. cooked basmati rice2 Cups
1. Take the coriander seeds and gently roast & grind it into powder and set it aside for later use. Add oil into a pan and then heat it. Now add green chillies, mustard seeds, and curry leaves into the pan and fry the mixture.
2. Make sure to add peanuts and ginger into the pan. Once you have added them, continue frying the mixture.
3. Now, add turmeric powder into the mixture and stop the burner. Now, add lemon juice into it and mix thoroughly.
4. Add the cooked basmati rice and roasted coriander powder to the mixture along with salt & mix it properly.
