About Homemade Idiyappam: Idiappam is a unique rice noodle bread which has its roots manifested in the historical lands of Tamilnadu, Kerala and Sri Lanka.

1. Add 1 1/4 cup of water in a kadai and then add salt & water into it. Stir and boil the water.
2. Add roasted rice flour into the kadai after simmering the flame. Continue to mix until the dough is formed. Now, cover and leave it undisturbed for 5 minutes.
3. Grease chakli maker with some oil to prevent the dough from sticking to the mould. Knead the dough and create a cylindrical shape out of the dough and place it inside the chakli maker.
4. Press it in circular motion on a greased idli plate and steam it for about ten minutes. Use the rest of the dough and repeat the same steps to make more idiyappam.
