7. Sugar2 Cup

8. Water2 Cup

9. Cardamom2

10. Saffron / Kesar¼ Tsp

11. Lemon Juice1 Tsp

12. Rose Water1 Tsp

How to Make Homemade Gulab Jamun

1. Add milk powder, maida, and baking powder in a large bowl and mix the ingredients really well. Add ghee into the mixture and continue to mix it until the flour becomes moist and then add milk as required. Make a soft dough and keep it aside for later use.

2. Add sugar, water, cardamom, and saffron in a bowl & mix and boil them until the sugar syrup becomes sticky. Add 1 tsp of rose water and lemon water after turning off the flame to prevent the crystallization of sugar syrup. Cover and keep it aside.

3. Start preparing small sized jamuns and ensure that they do not have any cracks. Deep fry the jamuns in either ghee or oil, stir it, & continue to fry until they turn golden brown in color.

4. Transfer the jamun into a sugar syrup, cover it, and leave it undisturbed until they completely absorb the sugar solution & get double in size.
