Ingredients of Homemade Bedmi Poori

1. Urad Dal¼ Cup

2. Fennel Seeds½ Teaspoon

3. Cumin Seeds½ Teaspoon

4. Green Chili Chopped1

5. Whole Wheat Flour1 ½ Cups

6. Sooji Rava3 Tablespoons

7. Salt To Taste

8. Red Chili Powder1 Teaspoon

9. Water

10. Oil For Deep Frying

How to Make Homemade Bedmi Poori

1. Soak urad dal in water for about 3 to 4 hours. Properly drain the water from the urad dal and grind it with green chilli, fennel seeds, and cumin seeds to make a paste. Keep it aside for later use.

2. Add wheat flour, salt, sooji, & red chilli powder into a bowl and thoroughly mix it. Add the paste into it and thoroughly mix the ingredients again. Add water to make the dough smooth and divide it into equal portions.

3. Roll the dough in desired shapes and heat one of them in a pan at medium heat by adding oil.

4. Press the puri slightly with the help of spatula so that it will get puffed up. Continue to fry until the puri turns golden brown in color & repeat the same process for the remaining dough.
