    How to make Afghani Malai Chicken at home

    Step 1

    In a blender add ginger, garlic, green chilies, onion, and coriander leaves. Blend it to a fine paste.

    Step 2

    Marinate the chicken and add all the items for marination. Mix well. Burn the charcoal and place inside a steel cup covered with aluminum foil and drop a teaspoon of ghee and cover immediately to infuse smoke. Keep it aside for half an hour to one hour.

    Step 3

    Heat oil in a pan and add the marinated chicken till it is brown from all the sides for 10 minutes. Add the marinade and mix well. Cook for another 10 minutes. Add water if needed. Finish with garam masala and serve.
